DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – As Mark Allan anchors his last shows at WDTN and 2 NEWS, we are taking a look back at some of his favorite and most impactful stories.

Rachael Townsend wanted to run in the Boston Marathon, but before she could do that, she had to qualify in the Chicago Marathon. In this 2004 story, Mark follows the tragic story of how Rachael became the fourth person to die during the race in just five years.
