Julia Palazzo joined the Living Dayton team as a host in December 2017. She is thrilled to call the Miami Valley home and show off all that it has to offer!
Before making the move to Dayton, Julia was a Multimedia Journalist and a Weekend Morning Anchor at WBND, the ABC affiliate in South Bend, Indiana; right in the heart of Notre Dame country!
Born and raised in New Jersey, Julia graduated Cum Laude from Rutgers University-New Brunswick with a double major in Journalism/Media Studies and Political Science.
During her undergraduate career, she challenged herself to take on several different roles. She had the opportunity to intern at The Rachael Ray Show, News 12 New Jersey, WABC’s “7 On Your Side” and with Talent and Development at NBC News in New York City.
Julia got her first taste of producing and hosting a lifestyle show at the student-run Rutgers Television Network. She hosted a live morning show called “Wake Up Rutgers.”
When she’s not in front of the camera, Julia enjoys cheering on the New York Mets and Jets, traveling, spending time with family and friends, cooking, baking, working out and catching a good movie.
