Francesca Ellana joined Dayton’s CW Living Dayton team in March 2023.
She was born and raised in Woodbridge, Virginia where she served as Miss Northern Virginia Teen USA.
Francesca moved to Los Angeles after landing a role in Nickelodeon’s iCarly and Big Time Rush. In Los Angeles, Francesca could be seen in commercials such as Samsung and Mcdonald’s or covering red carpets and conducting interviews at various press junkets and award shows. She has covered over 100 Hollywood celebrity red carpets and has interviewed celebrities such as Heidi Klum, John Stamos, Jermaine Dupri and more.
Her experience is versatile and layered. As a Lifestyle/Entertainment Reporter and co-founder of local California platform, Popfuzion TV, she has produced entertainment news and a good news beat where she interviewed guests about how they’re using their platforms for social good. She has also booked and produced national news segments and ‘American Hero’ stories with the national news cable network, NewsNation.
As a former beauty queen and Virginia native, Francesca enjoys fundraising and participating in philanthropic events such as the Susan G. Komen “Race For The Cure” in support of breast cancer awareness and supporting organizations that support ending homelessness and heart disease.
She also enjoys eating at her favorite restaurant Outback Steakhouse and playing with her 2.8 lb chihuahua, Max.
