Allison Gens joined the 2 NEWS team as a multimedia journalist in April 2020.
Before moving to the Miami Valley, Allison was a bureau reporter based in DuBois, Pennsylvania for WTAJ News. She got her start in broadcast journalism as a multimedia reporter at KEYC News Now in Mankato, Minnesota.
Allison graduated summa cum laude from the E.W. Scripps School of Journalism at Ohio University in 2017. In school she worked at the campus PBS station, WOUB, and interned at WJET in her hometown.
Allison’s had a love of broadcast journalism since middle school and is excited to tell the many stories found here in the Miami Valley.
