SPRINGBORO, Ohio (WDTN) - Springboro police locked down the Hampton Inn and Suites after an armed robbery Tuesday.
Police responded to the hotel on Greenwood Lane around 5:15 pm.
They say a lone gunman walked into the lobby and demanded cash. He got away on foot.
Guests were ordered to leave. One woman 2 NEWS spoke with said she had to wait for an all clear to get her property out of the room. She had no plans to stick around.
"I don't wanna stay in a hotel where something horrible happened," she said.
Police are looking for a man 5'6" to 5'7", 130 pounds. He was wearing navy blue clothing and a baseball cap with red writing on it at the time.
