DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) - More and more schools are calling in to 2 NEWS with early dismissals Wednesday due to the heat.
Those schools do not have air conditioning, the forecasted 90 degree heat is just too hot for students to sit in the class room all day.
Among the schools that will dismiss early are Bethel Local, Southeastern Local, Southeastern, four schools in Fairborn, four Northridge schools among others.

Storm Team 2 Chief Meteorologist Brian Davis says the high temperature Wednesday is 93 degrees, but relief is near.
Brian says spotty storms over the next 24 to 48 hours will start to bring temperatures down. The high Thursday is 82 degrees and only 68 degrees Friday, perfect Operation Football weather.
