HUBER HEIGHTS, Ohio (WDTN) - Granny C's Bakery is ready to make some Huber Heights athletes happy and leave their parents with a few extra dollars in their pockets.
The bakery will draw the names of the Wayne High School students that it will get a portion of their fall pay to play fees paid.
Owners collected money for months to assist families who are struggling to pay the $428 fee.
Parents and students alike signed up for a shot at some cash.
Names will be chosen Saturday, August 31 at 2:30 pm at the bakery. The address is 5115 Old Troy Pike in Huber Heights.
The money will help pay the fees of as many students as possible.
Any money left over will be donated to the school district.
