TROTWOOD, Ohio (WDTN) - A three vehicle crash in Trotwood sent one into the side of a house.
Trotwood police were called to the intersection of Hoover Avenue and State Route 49 around 2:30 pm.
They found two SUVs and a car involved. Investigators say an SUV started to make a left turn onto SR 49 when it suddenly changed direction and tried to turn back right. It struck another SUV which then pushed a car into the side of a house.
Two people were removed to Good Samaritan Hospital for treatment of minor injuries. The first SUV driver was cited for an improper turn.
No one was home at the house. It suffered very little damage.
Southbound traffic on Interstate 75 is moving slow because of an accident near Main Street.
When police and firefighters arrived, Moore said the victim, a grandfather living at the residence, was trying to go back inside the burning home.
