FAIRBORN, Ohio (WDTN) - Fairborn City Schools will be sending some students home early Tuesday and Wednesday due to expected heat and humidity.
Superintendent Dave Scarberry says the Wright Campus, Fairborn Primary School, Fairborn Intermediate School and Baker Middle School will all release two hours early due to the lack of air conditioning in the buildings.
The times for those schools' early release:
- Wright Campus at 1:10 p.m.
- Fairborn Primary School at 1:15 p.m.
- Fairborn Intermediate School at 12:40 p.m.
- Baker Middle School at 12:40 p.m.
Scarberry stresses that Fairborn High School students will have a full day of classes as the building is air conditioned.
- Northridge High School at noon
- Esther Dennis Middle School at 12:30 p.m.
- John H. Morrison at 1 p.m.
- TLC and Champions at 1:15 p.m.
Preble Shawnee Local Schools also closed two hours early Tuesday.
Middletown Middle School closed at 1:30 p.m.
