DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) - An overnight SWAT incident has come to an end with two people found dead inside an east Dayton home.
Dayton police were first called to the 800 block of Nordale Avenue around 9:00 Sunday night to check on the welfare of a 38-year-old woman.

It was just before 8 a.m. when the SWAT team made entry into the house and found a man and woman dead in the basement.
The deaths are being investigated as a murder-suicide and officials told 2 NEWS it appears the woman may have been dead before police first arrived at the house.
Weapons were found, but police have not revealed what sort of weapons they are.
Investigators said the man had a prior history of mental illness and drug use.
