The Westown Branch of PNC Bank will close today. Dayton Civil Rights Leaders had been rallying for weeks on behalf of customers to keep it open. All accounts from the Westown branch will be transferred to the PNC on Salem and Denlinger. An ATM will stay open in the building until October then a freestanding ATM will be placed in the parking lot.
Two thousand people will get free admission to the Montgomery County Fair courtesy of a donation by two businesses. An announcement about the ticket give away will be made today at 10 a.m.
The 157th Great Darke County fair kicks off today. This year new safety features will be in place such as ID bracelets for the kids. The fair runs through August 24th.
