TROTWOOD, OHIO (WDTN-TV) - Public officials with different opinions about Issue 2 hosted a public forum to educate voters Monday.
"This gives everyone a chance to hear both sides of the debate," State Representative Mike Henne said.
"Mike and I disagree on this issue, but it's important to have this kind of dialogue," Montgomery County Commissioner Dan Foley said.
Henne plans to vote yes on Issue 2, which would uphold Senate Bill 5.
Senate Bill 5 restricts the collective bargaining rights of public employees.
"There needs to be a change in who has the power," Henne said.
Foley plans to vote no on Issue 2.
"This has been a toxic plan from the start," Foley said.
Voters will decide on Nov. 8.
