ORIENT, Ohio (WDTN) - CNN is reporting that two Ohio correctional officers are now on administrative leave after the suicide of Ariel Castro.
Castro hung himself at the Orient Correctional Reception Center shortly after pleading guilty to kidnapping and holding three Cleveland women hostage for a decade.
CNN reports that Caleb Ackley and Ryan Murphy were on duty the night of Castro's suicide on September 3.
Both men have been on the job since 2007. Their leave coinsides with an indepth review of procedures at the Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Correction.
Castro pleaded guilty last month to 937 counts against him. He was to serve a life sentence plus 1,000 years.
