CHRISTIANSBURG, Ohio (WDTN) - Troopers released an official traffic report Tuesday evening about an accident in Champaign County earlier in the day.
The Springfield post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol says a pickup driver pulled onto SR 235 from Christiansburg Jackson Road into the path of the semi.
A witness to the crash said the semi then rolled over the pickup.
The driver of the pickup, Kenneth Riffle, 63, of St. Paris, was taken by helicopter to Miami Valley Hospital where he was listed in fair condition Tuesday night.
The driver of the semi, Mark Rickert, 51, of Peebles, Ohio was not injured.
The Springfield Post was assisted by Champaign County Sheriff's Department and Christiansburg Fire and EMS.
The crash remains under investigation.
