COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) — The Ohio Veterans Hall of Fame will induct 15 members this year.
The newest members of the Hall of Fame will be inducted in a ceremony Nov. 7 at Veterans' Memorial Auditorium in Columbus.
Officials of the Hall of Fame say it was established to recognize Ohio veterans who put their skills and abilities to work in their local communities after their military service.
This year's inductees include veterans from various branches of the military, including the Army, Navy, Marine Corps and the Ohio Air National Guard. Some of the inductees include veterans who served in World War II, the Korean War and the Vietnam War.
The Hall of Fame is taking nominations for next year's class The deadline to submit nominations for 2014 is June 30.
