XENIA, Ohio (AP) — An Ohio man has been sentenced to 40 years in prison after being found guilty of sexually abusing five young girls, including a 3-year-old.
Thirty-six-year-old Billy Adams of Xenia was found guilty in August of six counts of rape and two counts of gross sexual imposition.
Police say the abuse involved at least five girls, occurred over many years and began in 2003.
Adams was sentenced on Friday in Greene County court.
Adams' mother, Dawn Michelle Dudley, tells WHIO-TV that her son is not capable of molestation, gets furious when he hears of such crimes and that the five girls involved may have made up that they were abused.
