CLEVELAND (AP) - Police say a 22-year-old exotic dancer was seriously injured when she fell from a second-floor balcony while performing at a club in Cleveland.
The Plain Dealer newspaper reports that a witness told police the woman was dancing for him when she tried to perform a move or jump and fell over the rail head first.
The dancer was in critical condition at a hospital following the Wednesday morning incident at Christie's Cabaret near downtown.
Police reports said two men ran out of the club after the woman fell. The investigation is continuing.
Firefighters were called to an east Dayton home Friday morning.
