WILMINGTON, Ohio (WDTN) - Despite reports from the family that she was found, the search continues Wednesday for a missing Clinton County woman.
Casey Pitzer, 32, of Sabina, was reported missing early Sunday morning.
The focus of the search is a large retention pond in Wilmington, where Tuesday, crews using watercraft and sonar hit on an area of 40 feet deep water where they suspect the body may be.
According to Wilmington Police public information officer Mary Kay Vance, the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation will have a dive team in the pond on Wednesday.
Pitzer was last seen leaving a bar Saturday night and getting into a car of two men that she knew.
Police said she was seen jumping from the car along State Route 73 and running across the road.
Pitzer leaves behind two young sons.
