TOLEDO, Ohio (AP) - Authorities in Ohio along Lake Erie say they've recovered the body of what appears to be the second of two kayakers who went missing earlier this month.
The Erie County Sheriff's office says the body of a man was found Friday afternoon, only a few hours after another body was recovered.
Investigators say they appear to be a missing father and his 12-year-old daughter.
Two different fishermen spotted the bodies miles apart from each other.
The second body was found in the water near Cedar Point amusement park in Sandusky.
Authorities and family members say Viola Francis and her father Jonathan Francis never came home after they left on a short kayak trip on April 6.
The pair did not have life jackets when they set out on Sandusky Bay.
