Ohio troopers arrest two men allegedly transporting drugs in sub sandwich
WCMH Staff - SCIOTO CO., OH (WCMH) – Ohio State Highway Patrol troopers arrested two men in Scioto County after finding cocaine and heroin in a Subway sandwich.
The Patrol says troopers stopped a car on Oct. 13 for following too closely and headlight violations on U.S. 23 southbound.
The troopers discovered more than 10 grams of suspected cocaine and more than 10 grams of suspected heroin, worth about $2,870.
The driver, William Smith Jr., 47, of Huntington, WV, and passenger Kevin White, 34, of Detroit, were arrested.
The Patrol says both were charged with possession of heroin and trafficking in drugs, both second-degree felonies and possession of cocaine and schedule II substance, both third-degree felonies.
