MIAMI TWP, Ohio (WDTN) - A Miami Township family escapes injury after a garage fire spreads.
2 NEWS was first on the scene at 11:30 Tuesday night at 5901 Verdi Drive. When firefighters arrived, they found flames shooting from the roof.
The homeowner told 2 NEWS he and two others were home at the time. They escaped but at least one of the family's dog did not make it out of the house.
The home is considered a total loss. An investigator is surveying the damage to determine a possible cause of the fire.
