LEBANON, Ohio (WDTN) - Warren County has just completed a general reappraisal of all property in the county for the 2012 tax year, for taxes payable in 2013, said Warren County Auditor Nick Nelson.
In general, recent sales have indicated sales prices are down an average of 5% around the county, Nelson told 2 News. There are fluctuations around the county, with some areas seeing increases and others showing a decline in values.
An assessment completed in 2009 showed an average decline of 11% in value.
"We had hoped that the economy had improved, but sales are not showing much improvement, however, there does appear to be some stabilizing in this county," said Nelson.
There is an appeals process through the County Board of Revision on a form DTE-1 .
