LEBANON, Ohio (WDTN) - A Lebanon man was killed in a two vehicle accident in Turtlecreek Township Thursday afternoon.
Ohio State Highway Patrol investigators said Harold McCain, 84, of Lebanon, was traveling southbound on SR 123 about a half of mile south of the city of Lebanon around 3:30 when he attempted to turn left into a private drive and was struck by northbound pickup truck.
McCain was transported to Atrium Hospital by Turtlecreek Township EMS, then taken to Miami Valley Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
The driver of the pickup truck, Edward L. Dotson III, 32, of Blanchester, and his passenger, James R. Stump, 34, of Oregonia, received minor injuries and were treated at the scene.
Troopers said McCain was not wearing his safety belt.
The crash remains under investigation.

Police will be meeting with prosecutors in the "near future" to determine what charges a person of interest will face in connection with Tuesday's shooting in West Carrollton, officials there announced.
