WAYNESVILLE, Ohio (WDTN) - A Waynesville landlord accused of spanking a tenant was ordered into a diversion program.
Ron Kronenberger has 180 days to complete the program, then the case against him will be dismissed.
Kronenberger was charged with assault after he was accused of whipping a tenant with a belt because the renter owed him money.
Kronenberger is a former president of the Waynesville Chamber of Commerce and was once recognized as citizen of the year.
"It's the holiday season, you want to be out like this. You can drive in the rain. You can't drive in the snow," says Michael Sarka.
