CARLISLE, Ohio (WDTN) - The investigation continues after a woman was fatally run over by a trailer while riding her bike.
It happened at the intersection of Dayton-Oxford Road and Montgomery Avenue in Carlisle Monday night.
Lora Mrusek, 65, of Miamisburg died as result of blunt force trauma, said officials with the Warren County Coroner's Office.
Investigators said the driver of a truck that was hauling a trailer was turning right onto Montgomery Avenue from Dayton-Oxford when he collided with Mrusek, who was riding her bike toward the intersection.
Mrusek was run over by the front left trailer tire. She suffered severe head trauma and internal injuries, according to the Warren County Coroner's Office.
The driver has not been charged. Investigators will present the case to prosecutors once completed.
