DEERFIELD TWP., Ohio (WDTN) - A Warren County woman is accused of choking a five month old baby she was baby-sitting.
Elizabeth Pennington, 33, of Deerfield Township, was charged Monday with one count of child endangering.
The incident happened on March 13 at a home on South Harbor Drive. Rescue crews responded there on a report of a baby choking and unresponsive.
Children's Hospital said the injuries were not the result of an accident, but were inflicted upon the baby.
The investigation finally led to the charges Monday.
The child remains in the hospital recovering from the injuries.
Pennington is awaiting her next court date.
