SPRINGBORO, Ohio (WDTN) - Springboro police released cruiser cam video Friday of an early morning chase involving a motorcycle.
The pursuit traveled through parts of Warren County, ending with a crash on Bunnell Hill Road near Ohio Route 48.
The chase started when police tried to pull over Jonathan Wendling, 28, on a traffic violation on Route 741 just north of Route 73.
Officers say he sped away and the pursuit began.
"He doesn't realize how lucky he really was," said Springboro Sgt. Larry Bush.
Sgt. Bush says Wendling fled eastbound into Clearcreek Township, eventually driving southbound on Bunnell Hill Road where he crashed into a small tree line.
Speeds reached 100 mph during the pursuit.
Wendling refused medical treatment and was taken into custody.
He was booked into the Warren County Jail on charges of reckless operation of a motor vehicle and failure to comply.
