SIDNEY, Ohio (WDTN) - The Shelby County Animal Rescue needs your help.
It is overrun with dogs and needs to find some good homes in which to place them.
36 dogs are waiting for a new home. That is more than the shelter on Gearhart Road is prepared to handle.
"It is very expensive. Sometimes vet bills come in at $800 to $1000 and SCARF, through the funds raised by the community, are able to pay for that vet bill, get that dog fixed, get that dog healthy and then get that dog into its loving forever home," said Joe Laber, VP of Shelby County Animal Rescue Foundation.
