FINDLAY, Ohio (WDTN) - The Findlay Police Department released more detailed information of a reported hazing incident at a basketball camp involving Fairlawn High School students.
Investigators say in three incidents, a boy was held down by two or three others. Two victims said their attackers touched their buttocks inappropriately. Officers say all the boys were clothed at the time.
The third victim told police his attackers threw a plastic bottle full of liquid at him, striking him below the waistline. The boy didn't tell anyone about his injury until pressed for answers by his parents. He was not seriously hurt and did not seek medical attention.
The incidents were all reported at the University of Findlay basketball camp over a two day period on June 21 and June 22.
Police say they are still in the process of interviewing more people. No action will be taken until their investigation is complete.
