EATON, Ohio (WDTN) - A salute to our veterans is on display for all to see in Preble County this weekend.
Crews assembled The American Veterans Traveling Wall at Seven Mile Park in Eaton Thursday.
It's a replica of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington, DC.
The director of the county veterans services says it's important we never forget.
"I felt that our students needed to be re-educated that there was a Vietnam War so they never forget, they never forget the sacrifices our soldiers have made," said Terry Pendergraft, Director of Preble County Veteran Services.
A remembrance ceremony is planned for Saturday at 11:00 am.
Patriotic music will fill the park Sunday afternoon.
