EATON, Ohio (WDTN) - The Federal Bureau of Investigation confirmed Thursday afternoon that the robber who made off with an undisclosed amount of cash from an Eaton credit union also robbed a bank in Hamilton.
They say he is the serial robber that's been striking across three states, including Ohio.
Eaton Police were called to the Freedom First Credit Union around 1:30 p.m. with a report the suspect demanded cash and ran off. No one was injured in the robbery.
The FBI says the same man robbed the First Financial Bank at 300 High Street in Hamilton less than an hour later.
Police say the suspect entered the bank, brandished a gun and demanded cash.
Police describe the suspect as wearing camouflage pants, a red baseball hat, sunglasses and a blue shirt at the time. The shirt said Beer Patrol on the front and Staff on the back.
