The water department was on the scene assessing the situationSunday afternoon.
Officials tell 2news that a water main break caused a wateroutage Sunday in some eastern sections of Miamisburg. Servicewas restored late Sunday evening.
The city has issued a 24-hour Boil Water Advisory for thefollowing residents and businesses:
a. The area west of Sycamore MedicalCenter between Belvo Road to the south and Wilson Park Drive to thenorth, extending west to 11th Street.
b. The area south of Maue Road betweenHeincke Road and Mound Avenue.
A boil advisory means you should boil water used for drinking,cooking or hygiene for at least one minute.
The advisory will be in effect until at least late Monday.
