ENGLEWOOD, Ohio (WDTN) - Wet roadways are being blamed for several traffic snarls on Interstate 70.
Crews were called to two separate accidents on Interstate 70 in Englewood.
There were reports of a two-car accident on I-70 east near 48.
There was also a jack-knifed semi on I-70 at the 48 exit. It happened around 4:30 P.M. The semi was stretched across the highway blocking traffic. Officers had to divert traffic from 70 to 48 and then back onto the highway.
Officials say diesel fuel spilled out of the truck, onto the nearby exit ramp.
ODOT crews were called to clean-up the spill. They used large brushes and sand to absorb the fuel. The rain made the clean-up more difficult.
After nearly 6 hours, the ramp was re-opened around 10:00 P.M.
