PNC officials say the Westown branch on West Third Street is a victim of increased online banking.
It says fewer people are visiting branches.
Local civil rights leaders rallied for weeks on behalf of customers who say there are not enough banks in that area.
PNC says customers can transfer their existing accounts any branch.
The next closest PNC branch is at Salem Avenue and Denlinger Road.
The Westown branch will close August 6. The ATM will remain open inside the branch until October.
A freestanding ATM will then be placed in the parking lot.
