DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) - Police were called to the scene of a shooting in Dayton early Monday morning.
Sergeant Michael Pauley told 2 NEWS a black Chevy Impala pulled up to the victim on Danner Avenue at Bancroft street just after midnight.
The suspect got out of the passenger side with a shotgun and fired shots at the victim, according to Sergeant Pauley.
We're told the victim, a man in his mid 20's, was hit in the buttocks.
He was taken to Miami Valley Hospital, but officials said his injuries were not life threatening.
The black Impala took off after the shooting. Police were still searching for the car and the suspect.
