CENTERVILLE, Ohio (WDTN) - Mitchell Haber's mother was comforted by her other son, Mitchell's younger brother, in the front courtyard of Centerville High School Sunday night.
Sitting down and overcome with emotion, she thought out loud about the last time she told her son, Mitchell "I Love You."
Surrounding the Haber family was the Centerville community, many people who attended high school with both Mitchell Haber and Alex Lovett.
"He's a great guy. Probably one of the funniest guys I know. he was always happy. could put a smile on anyone's face," said Eliza Kelley, one of Mitch's friends.
Haber and Lovett were involved in a crash early Sunday morning in Harrison Township.
Troopers said speed caused the 19-year-old Haber to lose control of his car on Brandtford Road near Fair Valley Country Club.
Both Haber and Lovett were rushed to Miami Valley Hospital, where Haber was pronounced dead.
