WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP (WDTN) - A Washington Township medic unit was involved in an accident Wednesday morning.
The ambulance was on a non-emergency patient transfer to Miami Valley Hospital and stopped at the intersection of Paddington and Bandury roads and about to make a left turn when according to investigators, a woman driving a van pulled alongside the medic, and when she did, she occupied the wrong lane.
The driver of the ambulance did not see the van and turned into its side.
A second medic was called to take the patient.
The woman in the van was not injured.
She was cited for crossing center line of traffic.
