WASHINGTON TWP., Ohio (WDTN) - Montgomery County Sheriff deputies are investigating a credit union robbery.
Officers were called to the Universal 1 Credit Union in the 6100 block of Far Hills Avenue in Washington Township shortly after 5:30 pm Tuesday.
Deputies say the suspect handed the teller a note demanding cash. The note claimed he had a gun, but none was shown. He fled the bank with an undisclosed amount of money.
This is the second credit union robbery in as many days.
The Mid USA Credit Union in Vandalia was robbed Monday. That suspect handed the teller a note as well.
That suspect is still at large as well.
Two people were arrested early Saturday morning after leading police on a slow speed pursuit with a stolen snow plow.
