DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) - Dayton police are investigating a violent carjacking and shooting.
Officers say the suspect pistol whipped the victim, shot him in the leg, then drove off in his car.
The carjacking happened at Shoop Avenue and Hoover Avenue around 10 p.m.
Police are searching for the suspect. The victim is expected to be okay.
