The SWAT team surrounding a house at 3218 McCall Street just after 5:00 pm. They found a woman with a gun refusing to come out.
Multiple police cars and SWAT members tried several times to get the woman out. Our crews watched as she came out onto the porch a couple of times and went back inside. At one point, police fired a bean bag at her to try and get her into custody, but it didn't work.
The standoff began when a neighbor says she saw the woman walk outside, shoot off a round, then run back into the house.
Dispatchers said the woman who called for help said her sister shot at her, but she was not hit. The sister says the woman has a history of mental illness.
