DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) - UPDATED: A search warrant was executed by the Special Victims Unit of the Dayton Police Department at an Oregon District home Thursday morning. Officers seized computers and other electronic devices.
Lieutenant Kenneth Beall with DPD said the action is part of an ongoing investigation of allegations of sexual impropriety that could involve a child.
Lt. Beall said police were greeted at the door by the son of the subject of the investigation, who allowed officers to enter the residence at 139 Jackson Street just after 11 a.m.
The name of the subject of the investigation has not been released and there are no charges or arrests at this time, but 2 NEWS investigates searched public records and found the house is the current rental residence of a high-ranking Air Force doctor working at Wright-Patterson Air Force base.
