DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) - Dayton firefighters are battling a blaze that is sending smoke signals into the sky.
Fire crews were called to 716 Dunbar Street around 3:45 pm. They arrived to find a two story duplex burning.
Officials on the scene said a man had jumped from the second floor to escape and landed in some bushes. He was not hurt.
You could see the smoke billowing into the sky from downtown Dayton where we received a couple of pictures snapped from inside a building.
The Red Cross has been called to help the family living in the side of the duplex where the fire started. Firefighters believe the other side is vacant.
Investigators estimated the damage at $30,000. The investigation is underway to find a cause.
