DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) - The man who told police he was the victim of a drive-by shooting, shot himself.
Officers said it was around midnight when they were dispatched to the 4600 block of West Second Street.
That's where they found the man with a gunshot wound to the chest.
During their investigation, they found a gun underneath the man's front porch, and later the man admitted he had accidentally shot himself.
Police say the man is expected to survive.
