DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) - A second man involved in a deadly robbery attempt in Miami Township was sentenced to prison Thursday.
Antonio Addison, 18, will spend seven years in prison for involuntary manslaughter and aggravated robbery.
Prosecutors say Addison, Juwann Bateman and Phillip Ochen went to an apartment complex on Knoll Ridge Drive with the intention of robbing the victim, but the victim fought back.
Ochen was killed in the December 2012 exchange. Addison and Bateman were held responsible for his death since they were in the middle of committing a crime.
Bateman was convicted of the same charges. He will be sentenced May 23.
