MIAMISBURG, Ohio (WDTN) - The official kickoff for the United Rehabilitation Services' 10th Annual Rubber Duck Regatta was held at the Kroger Austin Landing on Saturday.
The kickoff marks the start of duck sales in the Miami Valley.
At least 15,000 bright yellow rubber ducks will be dropped by crane for a controlled race to the finish on Saturday, September 21, 2013 in conjunction with the Taste of the Miami Valley at RiverScape Metropark.
Prizes will be awarded to the top nine finishing ducks. The Grand Prize for the Regatta is a 2013 Chevy Spark.
U.R.S. provides services to more than 400 children and adults with disabilities throughout the Miami Valley.
