KETTERING, Ohio (WDTN) - A pizza store robber didn't get very far in Kettering Thursday morning.
Kettering Police responded to the Little Caesar's Pizza at 940 East Dorothy Lane just before 10:00 am.
An employee told officers a man threatened to shoot him if he didn't hand over the night deposit bag.
The worker said he handed over the bag and the suspect ran off.
Police quickly got a description of the suspect out to other officers and he was spotted walking along Waltham Avenue at Ingersol Drive. He was out of breath and sweating heavily.
Police arrested Jermayel Pope, 29, of Dayton. They recovered the cash and took Pope to jail.
He is being held on charges of aggravated robbery until prosecutors meet to formally charge him.
