DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) - There is nothing sweet about the candy narcotics agents took from a Dayton home Thursday.
The RANGE Task Force along with postal inspectors raided a home at 219 Park Drive after the post office says it delivered a package containing hash oil and marijuana filled candy.
Investigators say the hash was infused inside chocolate bars and gummy bears. They confiscated about 30 pounds of the extract.
They then moved on to a home at 143 South Sperling Avenue where they recovered three guns, several hundred dollars in cash and more hash candy.
A marijuana grow operation was also found at the Sperling Avenue address.
Police arrested Anthony Pietrzak, 25, and Destiny Fugate, 24. They were booked into the Montgomery County Jail on drug possession charges.
Neighbors reported heavy smoke coming from the home in the 300 block of Lawncrest Avenue in Drexel around 11 a.m.
