KETTERING, Ohio (WDTN) - A Kettering man lost his pet snake only to find it inside the duct work in his house.
"We found a lot of shocking things in duct work. We've found firearms. We've found bags of money; a lot of dead animals, but never have we found a python," said Adam Back of Ductz HVAC System and Duct Cleaning.
The 4.5 foot snake had been in the duct work for four days. The owner was away from the home when the ball python named Monty escaped his cage and made its way to an open vent.
Ductz HVAC System and Duct Cleaning helped take apart the heater and discovered Monty's remains under the furnace.
