DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) - Public Health - Dayton & Montgomery County has canceled its Public Health Heat Warning that had been in effect.
Due to improving weather conditions, the warning is being canceled effective Saturday, July 20, however, the warning does remain in effect through today.
The National Weather Service has in effect an Excessive Heat Warning and a Heat Advisory until 9:00 Friday night.
An approaching weather system will bring lower temperatures and a chance of rain over the weekend.
That front will bring an increasing chance of thunderstorms followed by cooler and less humid weather on Sunday.
