MORAINE, Ohio (WDTN) - Students in a Moraine are back in the classroom after one school was evacuated Monday morning.
Police were called to Montgomery Co Learning Center at 3500 Kettering Boulevard just after 9:00 on the report of a suspicious device found inside the building.
School officials followed their safety plan and cleared the school of all students and personnel.
Police officers and firefighters investigated the device and determined it was actually a student science project and presented no danger.
The bomb squad was never called and the students were returned to their classes.
